Locate the removable access trim panels on the inside of the hardtop to the rear of the side windows. Press down at the front of the driver's side trim panel and slide it open. Set the panel aside. Locate the hardtop locking mechanism revealed after removing the trim panel. Insert the "L" shaped tool that came with the hardtop into the hole at

Rebound. This video covers the procedure for the E93, not the F33, but it may be helpful. I have not tried this on my F33 so I cannot say it will work. You might also want to contact the company that made the video because they specialize in rebuilding the hydraulic pumps used in these hard tops.
