In a nutshell the Dualogic is an automatic gearbox with sequential manual transmission (or you can think of it as been a manual gearbox with auto transmission but I think the former is a more accurate description). In auto mode, its just like an auto gearbox. In manual mode, you push the gearstick up to go up a gear, and down to go down a gear

Oct 21, 2012. #7. It's a reverse gear, 99% of cars will do this if it's engaged to quickly, mainly because of the gear cog setup. Loads of info on it here for other models. Either need to double declutch, engage another gear before hand (not sure if reverse has a synchro) or put up with it, it's nothing to major. J.Points. 5. Feb 4, 2016. #2. The dualogic has special selespeed (sp) fluid under the heat shield covering the gearbox. Remove that and check for the level, cleanliness of the oil and any leaks. It is this oil you need to check rather than the gearbox oil itself. OP.
