yeah thats what mine was doing, wifi dongle on internet verified over 1300 miles by 3 year old with ipad (thank god). car connected to dongle - no skoda connection. Seems a bit dumb that the car can only get on the internet via Skoda connect as opposed to using the DHCP/DNS from the wifi dongle but there you go. I played with the Connect app when I first got the car in March, it doesn’t seem to do much, certainly not worth paying for, but on a recent trip down to Italy it would sometimes connect via my phone and the Amundsen would often warn of ā€˜traffic obstruction on route’ or ā€˜stationary traffic ahead’ and would advise that ā€˜the route has been recalculated’..all well and good but it
The new punto due out , erm , sometime , will have a sporty version with a 1.9TDI engine making 130 bhp. Looks like other manufacturers are noticing that diesel hot/warm hatches are a good idea.
Skoda Connect actually connected and after a very long 'loading' period everything displayed and I could finally find all the cheap petrol and parking spaces! My connection problem appears to be based on a poor phone signal, as long as I know I can compensate for, hope Skoda Connect is worth all the aggravation, still, the Karoq is an excellent I’m very disappointed after purchasing a superb, a car Skoda wishes to sell to business ppl. The non working app and the non working internet connection in the car won’t help to gain a solid reliable reputation, Skoda easily could have. Overview. On the one hand, the Skoda Kodiaq vRS is highly practical and therefore a great family choice, but on the other, it costs a lot for a sports SUV that’s not particularly exciting to Some of the features and benefits of a Å koda Extended Warranty policy include: 12 months cover against the costs of repairing or replacing failed components on your Å koda. Having seen the cable online for £219 I am quite tempted. I want to stick with the Skoda group and have already paid out £40 for 2 people to make changes on my car.

My account is now verified. It seems if you want to use Lock&Unlock feature you have to enter date of birth in profile and mobile number. If already have those, a copy of your drivers license must also be sent to your Skoda car dealership. Did all of that and now i can use the functions and the account says Verified .

Like someone else mentioned, it’ll come down to personal preference if it’s worth it. For me, nope. Even if it was $1 a month there’s nothing of any value for me since the lock/unlock feature is available for free. That’s all I ended up using when I had the trial.
With 242bhp and 370Nm from its four-cylinder turbocharged motor, the Skoda has a relatively strong output given its 1,489kg kerbweight – itself respectable considering the car’s size. More reviews S6CxLgq.
