I have the Koss KSC75 headphones, which have hooks that clip around the ears, what you see here is the drivers from KSC75 that have been combined with a headband from Koss Porta Pro headphones. KSC75 can be had for $20 whereas Porta Pro are about $50. But I think it's totally worth. ^{Across the whole spectrum, that was all I changed. As far as I'm concerned, with that applied, it sounds as good as anyone can reasonably expect a sub-$200 headphone to sound. Koss PortaPro's review I recently had the joy of picking up a pair of these things for $28 with the Kramer mod, and also included with this was the KSC75 ear clips (currently wearing those!) and a pair of VE Monks which have been abandoned for now.

I own KSC75, Porta Pro and Kph30i’s. Kph30i’s and KSC75 stock are not comparable at all, KSC75 has effectively no sub-bass and is only really practical for acoustic music imo.
